Standards

Interested parties meeting the NAAA’s professional experience requirements are vetted by an NAAA accredited associate and need to pass a background check before becoming a member. Our members agree to abide by the NAAA’s strict code of standards that promote ethical and professional practices in the valuation and documentation of assets and agree to the NAAA’s continued educational training. 

Requirements

NAAA membership is by referral of an existing member. To become a member, you must contact  a member near you and let them know of your interest in NAAA membership. You will be vetted by the member and, if approved, the member will refer you to the certification board for application.
 
NAAA offers three types of certification based on experience: Journeyman, Certified Appraiser, and Master Certified Appraiser. 
 

Cost

*New Member & Certification Training - $300

Annual Renewal & Continued Education - $200
